Setting Up Tiered Bundle Discounts

Learn how to create tiered discounts that increase as customers add more items to their bundle

Tiered discounts encourage customers to add more items to their bundle by offering bigger savings as they select more products.

How Tiered Discounts Work

With tiered discounts, the discount increases as customers add more items:

  • Buy 2 items β†’ 5% off each

  • Buy 3 items β†’ 10% off each

  • Buy 4+ items β†’ 15% off each

Setting Up Tiers

  1. Open your bundle widget

  2. Go to the Settings tab

  3. Expand Discount Behavior

  4. Toggle Enable Tiered Discounts to on

  5. Click Add Tier to create discount tiers

  6. For each tier, configure:

    • Tier Label - Display text (e.g., "Buy 2, Save 10%")

    • Required Items - Number of items needed for this tier

    • Discount Type - Percentage or Fixed Amount

    • Discount Value - The discount amount

    • Discount Message - Message shown in cart

Common Questions

What's the maximum number of tiers?

You can create as many tiers as you need, but 2-3 tiers typically works best. Too many tiers can be confusing.

Can I mix percentage and fixed discounts?

Yes, each tier can have its own discount type. For example, Tier 1 could be 10% off while Tier 2 is $20 off.

Do tiered discounts work with both Modern and Classic layouts?

Yes, tiered discounts work with both Frequently Bought Together (Modern) and Frequently Bought Together (Classic) bundle types.
