Connecting Klaviyo

Connect Triom with Klaviyo to leverage your customer segments and email data for smarter product recommendations. Show different products to VIP customers, target based on engagement, and create personalized shopping experiences.

What You Can Do

Segment-Based Targeting

Use Klaviyo segments as conditions in your Data Rules:

  • Show premium products to VIP segment

  • Target window shoppers with bestsellers

  • Personalize for engaged vs inactive customers

Display Reviews in Widgets

You can display Klaviyo review data in your widgets.

Cross-Channel Consistency

Same personalization across:

  • Your store (via Triom widgets)

  • Email campaigns (via Klaviyo)

  • Cohesive customer experience

Requirements

  • Active Klaviyo account

  • Klaviyo installed on your Shopify store

  • At least one Klaviyo segment created

  • Triom admin access

Connecting Klaviyo

Step 1: Navigate to Integrations

  1. Go to Settings in Triom

  2. Click Integrations

  3. Find Klaviyo in the list

Step 2: Authorize Connection

  1. Click Connect Klaviyo

  2. You'll be redirected to Klaviyo

  3. Log in if prompted

  4. Review permissions requested

  5. Click Authorize

Step 3: Verify Connection

  1. Return to Triom automatically

  2. Status should show Connected

  3. Your Klaviyo segments are synced automatically

Using Klaviyo Segments in Data Rules

Once connected, Klaviyo segments appear as conditions in Data Rules.

Creating a Segment-Based Rule

  1. Open your widget > Settings > Data Rules

  2. Add a new condition

  3. Select Klaviyo Segment

  4. Choose the segment:

    • is in - Customer belongs to segment

    • is not in - Customer doesn't belong

Available Segments

After connecting, all your Klaviyo segments appear in Triom, including:

  • Custom segments you've created

  • Default Klaviyo segments

  • Dynamic segments (updated in real-time)

Displaying Reviews in Widgets

Klaviyo also provides product reviews. You can display Klaviyo review data in your widgets.

Enabling Review Display

  1. Open your widget in the editor

  2. Go to the Integrations tab

  3. Toggle Klaviyo Reviews to on

Review Display Options

After enabling Klaviyo Reviews, a Reviews section appears in the Design tab where you can customize how reviews appear.

Note: Products without Klaviyo reviews will not display any review information.

Disabling Klaviyo Reviews

To stop showing Klaviyo reviews in a widget:

  1. Open your widget in the editor

  2. Go to the Integrations tab

  3. Toggle Klaviyo Reviews to off

Privacy & Data

What We Access

  • Segment names and IDs

  • Customer segment membership

  • No email content or PII beyond what's needed

Data Security

  • Data transmitted over encrypted connections

  • No storage of raw email addresses

  • Follows Klaviyo and Shopify data policies

Disconnecting Klaviyo

If you need to disconnect:

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations > Klaviyo

  2. Click Disconnect

  3. Confirm disconnection

What happens:

  • Segment conditions become unavailable

  • Existing Klaviyo segment conditions will evaluate to false

  • Historical data is retained

  • Can reconnect anytime
